Privacy

This says what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to make us delete it. It follows the outline in CONTENT.md section 11 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and what you ordered. If you message us on WhatsApp we keep that conversation, because it is usually where the order and the address came from. Payment card details are never seen by us: they go to the payment gateway directly.

Why

To pack and deliver the order, to send the messages you asked for about that order, to raise an invoice, and to answer you when something goes wrong. We do not sell your details to anybody and we do not send marketing to a number that has not asked for it.

Who else sees it

The payment gateway, for taking the payment. The courier, for delivering the parcel, which means they get your name, address and phone number. The WhatsApp messaging provider, for sending the order messages. The email provider, for sending receipts. Each of them sees only what that job needs.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records for eight years, because tax rules require it. Everything else until you ask us to remove it.

Asking for a copy, or deletion

Write to pichwainaturals@gmail.com from the address you ordered with, or message the number on the contact page. We will send what we hold within thirty days, and delete what we are not required to keep. Complaints go to the grievance officer on the grievance page.

Cookies

The store sets the cookies Shopify needs for the cart and the checkout to work at all. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only if you accept them, and you can decline without losing the cart.

Children

The store is not meant for anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly keep the details of a child.
